We wanted to thank the One Love club, from Edgemont Junior and Senior High School, for donating $50+ to the Program for Survivors of Torture.

The One Love Club was created to support the One Love Foundation, an organization that was created on behalf of Yeardly Love, a domestic violence victim. Yeardly was a lacrosse player at the University of Virginia when she was abused and killed by her ex-boyfriend.

"The club [at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School] works to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and works to change the statistics surrounding relationship violence," explains the Assistant Principal.

The club officers are themselves lacrosse players and raised money for the Program for Survivors of Torture and other like organizations. We would like to thank them for thinking of us and supporting our clients!

If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233 | 1-800-787-3224 (TTY)
