Operations and Development Coordinator

Danielle Allen is the Operations and Development Coordinator at the Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture.  She began working with the Program in 2006 as a volunteer ESL teacher and French interpreter, and came on staff in 2007 to conduct six-month follow-up interviews and to ensure that clients access Program support and services at external agencies.  She now assists the Director of Operations to facilitate daily programmatic functioning, to fundraise, and to develop and implement long-term institutional goals.  She earned her BA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in French, Political Science, and Integrated Liberal Studies.
