Beate Bolen

Chief Financial Officer, Barclay Investments, Inc.

Beate Bolen is Chief Financial Officer, CCO, and a Director of Barclay Investments, Inc. She has been involved in international fixed income sales and trading since 1977. Before joining Barclay Investments in 1989, Ms. Bolen was a trader and product manager at Smith Barney in New York and London. She spent 9 years working in the fixed income department at Paine Webber in various positions, the last as Eurobond trader and International Product manager. Prior to working at Paine Webber, she worked at Molson Rousseau in Montreal.

Alan J. Morrison

Partner, Cohen Pontani Lieberman & Pavane LLP

Alan J. Morrison is a partner at the New York firm of Cohen Pontani Lieberman & Pavane LLP. Mr. Morrison’s practice focuses on U.S. and international patent prosecution in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas; opinion work relating to patentability, infringement and invalidity; and biotechnology- and pharmaceutical-related contract drafting and negotiation. Prior to joining Cohen Pontani, Mr. Morrison was a partner at the New York firm of Cooper & Dunham LLP, in-house counsel at Johnson & Johnson, and associate attorney at the New York firm of Rogers & Wells. Mr. Morrison earned his B.A. in biochemistry from U.C. Berkeley, his M.S. in biological chemistry from the University of Michigan, his M.Phil. in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from Columbia University, and his J.D. from Yeshiva University. Mr. Morrison has lectured both domestically and internationally on various topics in U.S. patent law. Mr. Morrison has a long-standing interest in foreign affairs, particularly in developing nations, and has traveled to many such countries in Asia, Latin America and Africa.

Andrew K. Boszhardt, Jr.

President, Great Oaks Capital Management, LLC

Andrew Boszhardt is founder and President of Great Oaks Capital Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor which manages long-short equity funds and separate accounts. Mr. Boszhardt was formerly a Managing Director and portfolio manager at Neuberger-Berman. He served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs from 1980-1996. Mr. Boszhardt received his BBA in Accounting and MBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Ken Fish

President, Absolute Travel

Ken Fish is the president and owner of luxury travel company Absolute Travel. It is Ken Fish’s personal and professional goal to make people’s wildest travel dreams a reality. In addition to running his company, he is a highly regarded spokesperson for the travel industry and is regularly featured in the most respected trade and consumer publications. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Ken has dedicated a good portion of his adult life to travel. From 1983 to 1987, he worked for an Australian travel company and then traveled extensively throughout Australia and Southeast Asia. He founded luxury tour operator Absolute Travel upon his return to New York City. In addition to steering the direction of the company and being an active industry advocate and spokesperson, he continues to travel extensively and has taken more than 80 overseas trips since 1983. When he is not exploring the world, Ken unpacks his suitcase in New York City, where he lives with his wife and two children.

Steven J. Kolleeny

Special Counsel, Skadden, Aarps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP

Steven J. Kolleeny is special counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He has litigated and arbitrated a diverse array of commercial disputes in federal and state courts and is also experienced in resolving disputes through arbitration and mediation... Mr. Kolleeny is experienced in expedited litigation involving contests for corporate control. In addition, he has represented a number of financial institutions and other companies in securities litigation, as well as represented clients in post-closing disputes arising out of sales of businesses. For many years, Mr. Kolleeny has represented political asylum seekers and also coordinated the pro bono work of lawyers of Skadden, Arps in handling numerous asylum cases. Several of those cases have benefited greatly from close collaborations with the dedicated professionals at Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture.

Rena Neville

Senior Vice President, Client Development at Sothebys 

Rena Neville began her career as a litigation associate in New York City with the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell.  In 1989, she joined Sotheby’s where she was worked since.  During her first 11 years with the Company, she acted in a variety of legal capacities and lived and worked between London and New York.  Her various legal roles included: General Counsel for Sotheby’s Europe, Deputy General Counsel Worldwide for Sotheby’s Holdings, Inc. and Worldwide Director of Compliance, Business Practices Counsel and Senior Vice President, Sotheby’s Holdings, Inc. In 2006, she returned to New York City and assumed a non-legal role as head of Client Development for Sotheby’s North and South America. Ms. Neville has served on various committees relating to art law or lobbying, including:  the Executive Committee of the British Art Market Federation; the European Round Table; the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on Art Law; and the Board of Directors of the Art Loss Register. Ms. Neville has published The US Government and the Art Market, in Fine Art and High Finance, published by Bloomberg Press, editor Clare McAndrew (2010);  The International Movement of Cultural Property, Chapter 6 of Art Law Handbook, published by Aspen Law & Business, editor Roy S. Kaufman (2000) and European Experiment in Enforcing the Export Control Laws of Fellow Member States, International Bar Association Newsletter of IBA Committee 20 on Art and Cultural Property, May 2001. She graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Art in Philosophy and received her Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law, American University. 

Eric Philo

Chief Financial Officer, BuildandSearch, Incorporated

Eric Philo is Chief Financial Officer for BuildandSearch, Inc., an e-commerce internet-based company in the automotive field.  He also served in senior positions at Brompton Cross Capital Advisors, a long/short hedge fund, Shopkorn Associates, a family office/hedge fund, and Jennison Associates, a money manager serving institutions and individuals.  Mr. Philo’s primary focus is media, internet infrastructure and content, and telecommunications services and equipment. Mr. Philo was vice president at Goldman, Sachs from 1983-1996. While at Goldman, he was consistently named to Institutional Investor magazine's All-Star Team and The Wall Street Journal All-Star team (publishing).Mr. Philo has an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.B.A. from George Washington University.  He also serves on the Advisory Board of the NYU/Bellevue Program for Survivors of Torture, and served as Mentor, New York Society of Securities Analysts Investment Research Challenge, Iona College Team, 2008-2009. He is also an accomplished musician and composer, with original compositions on iTunes and other sites.

Madeleine Schachter

Partner/Global Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Baker & McKenzie LLP

Madeleine Schachter, a partner based in the New York office of Baker & McKenzie LLP, is the Firm's Global Director of Corporate Social Responsibility. She works exclusively on global pro bono and community service, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability matters, including in an active pro bono practice with an emphasis on international humanitarian and human rights, constitutional law, and civil rights issues. Ms. Schachter is Co-Chair of the International Pro Bono Committee of the ABA’s Section of International Law. She currently holds a faculty position at Weill Cornell Medical Center and previously was an Adjunct Professor at the Fordham University School of Law. Ms. Schachter is the author of three books, Law of Internet Speech, Informational and Decisional Privacy, and The Law Professor's Handbook: A Practical Guide to Teaching Law, and several articles in law and medical journals. She is a tutorial student in classical ballet. Ms. Schachter is a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Political Science and also designed an individualized major in Medical Ethics, and a graduate of the New York University School of Law where she was a Root-Tilden Scholar.

Michael B. Sheffery

Founding General Partner, OrbiMed, LLC

Michael B. Sheffery is a founding General Partner of OrbiMed Advisors, LLC, a preeminent global health sciences asset management firm. Dr. Sheffery, who is Co-Head of Private Equity at OrbiMed, was formerly Head of the Laboratory of Gene Structure and Expression at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He received both his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and his B.A. in Biology from Princeton University. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of a number of private biotechnology companies.

Puja Swamy

Puja Swamy has a BS & BSE in Chemical Engineering and Biology (with minors in Biomedical Engineering and Theater) from MIT and an MBA from The Wharton School. Puja is a Senior Associate in the New York office of Booz and Company, a global Management Consulting firm.  She currently focuses in the healthcare sector, serving clients in the Pharmaceutical, Payor/Provider and Medical Device segments.  Puja also served in a strategic finance role at Genentech Corporation in San Francisco from 2001-2004.
